After a career in CFO and CEO roles for hospitals and healthcare systems, Jon Marshall saw a vision to create a medical billing service that would rise above the rest, with a strong leadership team driving a culture of excellence, ethics, customer service, consistency, creativity, accountability, technology, leadership, and results. Relying on his 20+ experiences in accounting, finance, leadership, business development, acquisitions, consulting, and of course billing and revenue cycle, Jon constantly drives both Marshall Medical Billing and Marshall EMS Billing with a principle-oriented approach. Both companies constantly grow to new heights and through new challenges. They have been creatively designed to be fully onshore, providing a leadership presence for each client, customizing services for each client, and achieving industry leading results in both employee and client satisfaction and retention.
TJ Smith Chief Revenue Officer -is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 20 years of experience leading revenue cycle and operational transformation initiatives for health systems and physician organizations nationwide. Throughout his career, he has partnered closely with clients to stabilize, optimize, and scale complex revenue cycle operations—improving financial performance while strengthening accountability, governance, and patient experience.
With deep expertise across the full revenue cycle, TJ has led large, multifaceted initiatives spanning revenue cycle stabilization, operational transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and enterprise-wide improvement efforts. His background includes significant experience working within complex health systems, which informs a practical, operations-first approach focused on outcomes rather than technology alone.
Known for building high-performing teams and trusted client partnerships, TJ takes a principle-driven leadership approach rooted in transparency, execution excellence, and sustainable results.
